INTRODUCCION al NUEVO TESTAMENTO 1. ¿Cómo está dividida la Biblia? La Biblia está dividida en dos partes: Antiguo Testamento y Nuevo Testamento. 2. ¿Qué es el Antiguo Testamento? Es el conjunto de libros que narran la historia del pueblo de Israel antes de la venida del Mesías; es decir, antes del Nacimiento de Jesucristo. 3. ¿Qué es el Nuevo Testamento? Es el conjunto de libros que forman parte de la Biblia y que fueron escritos después del nacimiento de Jesucristo. 4. ¿Cómo era la situación del pueblo judío en tiempos de Jesús? No se gobernaban ellos mismos, sino que eran gobernados por los Romanos. Al no tener independencia, esperaban que Dios les enviara un libertador para poder gobernarse ellos mismos. 5. ¿Qué idea tenían la mayoría de los judíos sobre el Mesías esperado? Ellos creían equivocadamente que el Mesías que vendría sería el libertador que los iba a liberar de los Romanos. 4. ¿Cuáles son los libros más importantes del Nuevo Testamento? Los Evangelios. 5. ¿Cuántos son los Evangelios? Son cuatro. 6. ¿Quiénes escribieron los Evangelios: San Mateo, San Marcos, San Lucas y San Juan. Los cuatro Evangelistas 7. ¿Qué significa la palabra “Evangelio” Significa buena noticia o buena nueva. 8. En tiempos de Jesucristo ¿qué era el evangelio o la buena noticia? Al principio Evangelio no era un libro, sino un anuncio de salvación que Jesucristo vino a traer a la humanidad con su Muerte y Resurrección. 9. ¿Qué son los Evangelios? Los Evangelios son cuatro libros que narran algunas de las cosas que Jesús hizo, cómo y cuándo nació, cómo y cuándo murió, su Resurrección y su Ascensión. 10. ¿Cómo surgieron los Evangelios Los que iban predicando la buena nueva de salvación de Jesucristo, además de anunciar la Muerte y Resurrección de Cristo, se vieron en la necesidad de hablar también de lo que había hecho y de lo que había dicho Jesucristo durante su vida terrena. Así se fue formando lo que en la Iglesia de Cristo se llama la Tradición, la cual era trasmitida oralmente, de viva voz al comienzo de la Iglesia. Más tarde aparecieron los primeros escritos, como el relato de la Pasión, colecciones de dichos del Señor, colecciones de milagros, etc. 11. ¿Cómo escribieron los Evangelios? Los Evangelistas escogieron, ordenaron y adaptaron el material que conocían de la Tradición y escribieron los que conocemos como los Cuatro Evangelios. Y los escribieron bajo la inspiración directa del Espíritu Santo. ORACION Gracias, Jesús, Hijo de Dios y Señor nuestro, porque ya vamos a comenzar a aprender directamente de Ti, a conocerte mejor en el estudio del Nuevo Testamento. Tú, Jesús, eres la Palabra de Dios y estás presente en toda la Biblia, pero en el Nuevo Testamento te nos presentas como uno de nosotros, como Hombre verdadero, que caminaste por nuestra tierra, que comiste de sus frutos, que tocaste a los que se te acercaron. ¡Qué privilegio, Señor, tuvieron ellos! Pero nosotros tenemos un privilegio aún mayor, porque, sin vivir en la Palestina de hace 2000 años, Tú estás con nosotros, Tú nos tocas y –más que eso- Tú nos llenas de Ti con el Sacramento de tu Cuerpo y tu Sangre cuando comulgamos. Ellos oyeron tus discursos y vieron lo que hiciste, es cierto. Pero nosotros tenemos por escrito tus discursos, tus recorridos y tus milagros, para leerlos cada vez que queramos. Así que, cuando leemos tu Evangelio, Tú estás también presente, porque Tú eres la Palabra de Dios, el Verbo de Dios hecho Hombre. Gracias por tu Evangelio, Señor. Gracias por los Evangelistas que los escribieron. Gracias por tu Iglesia que nos los ha trasmitido y nos los explica.
